The Internet is a great new market place for entrepeneurs. It is the first time in history that all of us have had the opportunity to make a real income working from home. Don't get me wrong, contrary to what you may read elsewhere, you DO need to work at this, nothing of value ever comes to those that sit around waiting for good fortune to arrive.
One thing is demonstrably true time and time again, if you want success badly enough and you are persistant, it will always come your way, it's like magic.
Now on with the case study.
Lets assume you want to target a particular niche' audience. Niche' areas of interest always deliver the best results.
For our purpose, lets choose E-Book Writing.
The first thing I do is visit Clickbank and search the available products under Writing E-Books.
I am already a Clickbank affiliate but if you are not, join, it's free
I get Clickbank to create my affiliate link code for the product I wish to promote and make money from. Lets assume I choose How to Write an E-Book
I then log into my Google Adwords account (If you do not have one, get one, sign up is free and no charges are incurred until you start marketing)
I then set up my Google Adwords campaign for How to Write an E-Book and choose my Ad Words carefully
In the link area for my Adwords Ad, I use my Affiliate link code that Clickbank created for me.
The way Adwords works is by charging you a fee per click. So it may cost you anywhere between 9 cents and 30 cents per click to get people to visit your chosen link but if your affiliate payout is say $14.00 you can afford to send as many as 155 potential customers to this site per sale to break even.
At 9c per click, if more than one sale is made in 155 visits, you make a profit. This is why you must choose the product you promote carefully.
The great thing about Adwords is that it pre-qualifies people that are looking for exactly what you have to sell so the potential customer is ready to buy, all you have to do is have the correct product available for them to purchase.
